Lets start by saying that Laurie was amazing. The home we bought was 2.5 hours north. Laurie made the trip for the showing. A long day. The selling agent was a real handful. Seller was Canadian. Laurie insured that all the bases were covered for title transfer, with the seller being Canadian there were extra steps that needed to be taken care of. Laurie even got me legal advise. The listing agent wanted me to say the new property, would be my primary residence, even thought it is not, letting the Canadian escape paying 22k in tax. Aiding in tax evasion in a felony and Laurie had me covered with the right information. Laurie has an incredible support network, the mortgage person and the title company people were true seasoned professionals. Working with her people made the transaction seamless. The mortgage person she recommended, Josh, was a true pro, always returning my emails and phone calls within minutes. Having a team that knows each other is a huge help when in the fight to get to closing. Bottom Line: with Laurie’s vast experience, she will truly be a positive asset for you in acquiring or selling your property.
